WRITINGEternal Embers will include a SFW zine and a NSFW zine.Each writer is expected to contribute a minimum of one fic.They can contribute to both SFW and NSFW if they would like to.SFW and NSFW fics length: 1.5k - 5k words.Writers can contribute other forms of literary art (poems, articles, interviews etc.), min. 500 words, but please let mods know.Documents should include your writer name in the header.Important formatting (italics, bold, alignment etc.) has to be communicated to the mods.Writer Application Form HERE
PAGE AND COLLAB ARTISTSBoth Page and Collab artists are expected to make a minimum of one (1) full illustration, either a spread (landscape) or single page (portrait), whichever they prefer.,
They can make multiple pieces, and can contribute both SFW and NSFW pieces.Single Page: A5 (300 dpi) | 1748 x 2480 px.Spread: A4 (300 dpi) | 3508 x 2480 px.For those who would like to collaborate with writers and make spot illustrations too, here are your specs:Spot illustrations can be:One art with 1748 x 600 px,

Writer Mod: PirateHello! I’m Pirate, and I fell in love with the tragedy of Petra and Levi’s story over a decade ago when I first watched Attack on Titan. Petra is my all time gone too soon character in all of anime, and I wish she and Levi had more time together. The sincerity of her feelings and devotion really came through to me, as did his special care and respect for her.I’ve written for over 10 One Piece zines across the years, along with Gojohime volume 2, 90s anime sleepover zine and the Aerith zine volume 2. I have been a writer mod for Loving Nami zine and Alabasta zine, and I hope every writer feels comfortable sharing their work with me. I promise to handle each piece with care!
Art Mod: SelkieOnce upon a time, in the far-off year of 2013, a young college student was watching Attack on Titan episode 9 and said "I could see myself shipping that" before accidentally helping start a cult. That girl was me.Hi there! Selkie (FKA Sango Nanami) at your service! There are so many things I love about Levi and Petra, both as characters and as a couple, that it's hard to only list a few. Very rarely can you find a character like Petra who has equal amounts of kindness and sheer badassery. Levi was born into the absolute worst of circumstances but still chose to rise above every challenge that their cruel world threw at him. However brief our time was with Petra, their love that could have been and the community celebrating that love has helped me through some of the toughest times of my life.I've made quite a few crossover animations on my YouTube of Levi and Petra like Serenade, Attack on Heathers, and Rewrite the Stars. Plus of course, the canonverse "skits" I have on my tumblr. This will be my first zine, but I'm so proud to be your art mod. I'm always open to give feedback or answer any questions you may have.

I've always been a huge sucker for the grumpy x sunshine trope & creating fan arts for it has been my pride & joy! Formatting Mod: SafireLupeHey ya’ll! I’m Safire Lupe, a fanfic writer since the dawn of cringe grammar and FF.net days, while also spewing amateurish art back when devART wasn’t yet overrun by AI slop. I’ve hopped through a lot of fandoms, mostly late-90s to early-2000s anime, and I come from the era of tiny dial-up modems and fandom spaces that were weirdly hard to find. Yes, I’m probably exaggerating how prehistoric I am. I’m not that old. I think. But that’s beside the point.The point is that, among my many hyperfixations in life, I am—and still very much am—obsessed with Attack on Titan. Best anime/manga of all time, hands down. And as a romantic at heart, of course I needed a ship to obsess over and imagine fluffy little scenarios for before bed. Levi has always been a fave. Gotta love a dark, emotionally constipated, angsty man; they’re fucking fun to write. But while this short king has launched a thousand ships, the only one I’ve willingly chained myself to is Rivetra.Petra Ral became a muse I never expected to love this much. But her tragically short life in the series, plus those tiny glimpses of her personality and her interactions with Levi, made me see the romantic potential. The yearning. The fucking YEARNING. The “what ifs” had me internally groveling for years. Then I went on a creative hiatus, and all that pent-up yearning ended up becoming what I now consider my magnum opus: "The Telomeres Series."And now I’m back to being artsy again, baby. Back in the fandom trenches. Back doing a full shinzou wo sasageyo to Rivetra, which has officially become the ship I’ve stuck with the longest. I'm looking forward to working on this project. This is also my first Zine, where I’ll be contributing fic, art, and serving as format mod—because my probably undiagnosed OCD absolutely loves organizing things and making stuff look good.Follow me in my socials. Socials Mod, Co-head Mod: CrisHello, I’m Cris and I’ve been crazy about Rivetra for a while now, I think they had a lot of potential and I love thinking about all the “what ifs”. So I happily joined the fandom and I love sharing the Rivetra love on social media like Tumblr and my humble writings on AO3. I volunteered to be the socials mod in the Rivetra zine because I have some experience managing events accounts like Rivetra weeks on Twitter and Bluesky.
